Fund dedication campaign for the Ram mandir being built in Ayodhya started today. President Ram Nath Kovind first gave a surrender fund of Rs 5 lakh. After this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave a donation of one lakh rupees.
Major VHP leaders, including the treasurer of Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi Tirtha area, Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Alok Kumar, met President Ram Nath Kovind at 11 am.
11:44 AM: Ahmedabad-based diamond businessman Govindbhai Dhodhakia has donated Rs 11 crore for the construction of the Ram Mandir. Gonvidbhai Dhodhakia has been associated with the RSS for a long time.
11:26 AM: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave a check of one lakh rupees to Vinayak Rao Deshmukh, National Organization Minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad for the construction of Lord Ram’s Mandir in Ayodhya under Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Nidhi Abhiyan.

Fund raising campaign will run till 27 February
